After a few minor setbacks, and slight delays, New Jersey native and iLLustrious' own, see.francis, finally releases his long awaited project, Fiat Lux. The project finds itself overarching themes addressed throughout on records include bigger pictures, drug addiction, precarious relationships, and freedom from self-inflicted struggles. Stellar production was provided by The VAMP, who's sound really caters to see.francis unique styles along with Francis producing two records as well. Sporting plenty of live chops and soulful harmonies, Fiat Lux fresh, original feel defies rap's coastal clichés. "Deliah" got such a 808 & heartbreak appeal, while "Room Full of Hoes" possesses an uncanny blend of beauty, "Diemonds" contains such poignant lyricism and dark undertone. Every record seems to tell a tale. As Francis pays homage to Pimp C on "Pimp see." and "Runnin" brilliantly compels without commanding. see.francis pushes the limits of what we normally consider Hip Hop.
